ive been going through my old bb pics,has anyone ever seen one of these aluminium decks? this is the only one ive ever seen,it must be up there with the benjyflex as one of the rarest benjys around,although probably the least desirable

So quick question for Benjy White Lightening owners

The Ads say they came in 27 & 30 ,

I have had a few nos ones and still have a 27 which I bought direct from Shiners when they had them in 2002.

I picked one up recently and when it arrived it turns out it’s 28.5 x 8 anyone else have an oddity?

I noticed a white lightening shaped board a few months ago on eBay but it was in comp 2 style construction anyone pick that up ?

ive only ever had a couple of the 27" so cant help. but if a deal works out i may be getting 2 nos 30" versions,if it happens ill measure them both up ,the 30's seem to be a lot rarer,has yours been reshaped and tidied up maybe?
edit - ive just noticed its not been drilled so deffo not a reshape lol

Took a few photos of my 27 & 28.5 white Lightening’s

Apart from the dodgy grip job and stickers the 27 came from Shiner varnished and drilled as shown

My new one is unfinished and undrilled, Dirt n Dust has got in to the grain over the years in storage so it will need a light sanding and varnished.

It’s still an inch and a half too long or short depending how you look at it

the 2 i owned previously had the top section of the kicktails stuck on seperate to the decks,i cant see that on your odd sized one unless they changed the way they were made?
