Vintage 1970s skateboard forum for discussion research and information of skateboards and skateboard items mainly from the 1970s era e.g Benjyboard,Sims,Alva etc.
Most people have seen these. Some are rarer than others.
This was a 30" WL that is unusual, with reasonable OJs, but good Gullwings with plates. Smallest Comp II with stage II Lime Greens on Tracker mids. The Freestyle on the end was my first board (I think) with ACS500s and Gen I bottle green Kryps.

One of many BB ads around '76 I think advertising the Benjflex and some crap called Waimea. Benjyflex would be the hardest BB to find today I would think. Only ever seen one for sale.

the waimea and sunset werent benjys as discussed on bds, they were just some other brands they advertised amongst their line up,budget ones id have thought seeing as ones a polyprop, ive never seen any either
was looking through some old ads today and found this- sunset surf shop in california, they have an early 3 hole board in the ad so presumably went on to do some more boards inc the polyprop one mentioned earlier?

look at how much more the Turner decks were than anything else 3 or 4 times more than any other deck
ignore my other post about sunset, it was actually made by sci [sure craft inc] i stumbled upon a sci advert and there was a pic of it on there, unfortunately i cant find it again it also stated at the bottom of the ad that their uk distributors were benjyboard.
