good find, i think herbert sports are probably just as obscure as humstopper,i see it only had 1 bidder although he put in an extra bid just incase there was a bidding war at the end
Re: eBay stuff , post any links in here to anything interesting on eBay/forums marketplace etc.
I always bid late, nothing worse than having held a top bid for along time to lose an item in the closing seconds…..so I imagine maybe these thoughts passed the Humstopper bidder too ?
What’s the general consensus on bidding? I suppose deepest pockets win regardless !

Just been outbid in the last second on those set of Bones GRRRR
. Anybody on here bought them ? Don’t worry i don’t hold a grudge it’s part of the game lol
Re: eBay stuff , post any links in here to anything interesting on eBay/forums marketplace etc.
i agree, theres always someone at the end who will outbid you after yours was the only bid for a whole week
but even more annoying is when youve been watching something for an entire week and then in the last few seconds the internet goes down! happened to me a few months back and when it came back on it was all over and my bid would have easily won it
how i wish id placed a bid at the beginning then!
ive already got some nos bones so didnt bother with those ones,i thought he did well with the price though considering the faded logo and general yellowing of them,he doesnt help himself though with the time he lists stuff as it always ends in the morning when folk are most likely to be busy

Yeah I consoled myself with the fact they weren’t the best nos set out there. I can’t moan too much about getting outbid last seconds as I’ve done it plenty of times.
Yes I think Simon finishes the auctions to suit oversea bidders but I think alot have been put off by the high custom fees on eBay now.

I only discovered the other day EBay take a fee if it’s an offer we’re as they no longer take a fee on a straight sale
