later phoenix with tapered hanger ends [these are harder to find as they werent made for as long]

its great to see the old adverts and how the finished production trucks always differed slightly in design

ive never seen any of the shiny gold gullwings look anodised

they look like gold plating just for the adverts,lots of manufacturers polished their trucks etc to make them stand out in the ads,i do like the gold plate though it would look great on a display set up.

those pros or classics as they call them in the other ad have diff base plates to the proper versions too,the area round the king pin is squared off and they look thin as hell

Hi does anyone know where I can get the pins and nuts for a set off split rim gullwings that go through trucks and hold wheels on ?

Just revisited this post you’ve had all the gullwing there is them split axle very plain ones must be be very scarce never seen any of them for sale period even years ago when stuff was about

if you mean the one with the ridges underneath the baseplate then they were more like a prototype,you never saw them comercially for sale,the others with the deeper hanger cutout are very early too and also very very hard to find
